Oh sister, my sister your 50^th birthday it be

Just sending a poem to show how special you are to me

I may not say it as often as I might

I love you my sister, know that much is right

Thank you for always being there

Sisters like you are so very rare

You have been my strength, my rock, my light

Please know I am here, forever in your sight

Remembering times past, memories of yesterday

I am glad you are my sister, this I want to say

Distance has been a big part of our lives

But our love for each other will always survive

So this wish I send to you on your special day

Will come across the miles, be that as it may

Happy Birthday my dearest Lyn

Thank God we are the closest of kin
