We at angelhands believe
that the needs of people left behind after a homicide, are often overlooked.
Despite their diversity this group has needs that often overlap. We believe
it is a basic human right to have the following things. The right to have a
voice, and to have that voice have a space and opportunity to be listened
to. The right to have relevant and current information and resources
delivered in a pro-active, affordable and timely fashion. |
| The Museum of Childhood
began as a private collection created by Mary and John McKenzie. It opened
to the public in temporary premises made available by the W.A. Teacher's
Union in 1975. From its earliest times the Museum sought to reflect all
aspects of Australian children's experience through time rather than to be
simply a repository for beautiful dolls, toys, games and nursery items |
